บท 139: New Discoveries (1)

Kai's mind had gone blank from shock, but he quickly pulled himself together and analyzed the phenomenon before him.

The orb sat in the middle of the array as the illustrations of light floated around it. Kai could feel the immense concentration of Qi building up inside the array.

Kai closed his eyes and concentrated on the connection for a few seconds, then sighed in relief. 

"Good, it looks like it's not going out of control. If anything, the array seems to be working as intended, albeit at a much higher level than anticipated..."

Kai looked over to the orb that was still releasing light. From his connection, Kai could tell that it was not absorbing the Qi generated. All the absorbed Qi was trapped inside the spherical light barrier.
