Light Wing and Dark Matter assumed their positions by the far-end dilapidated structure. Just like other professional superheroes out there, they have a significant amount of experience when it comes to heroes versus villains exercise like this. That's why they weren't the least bit fazed when they heard what the scenario was all about.

And as an added bonus, they were given the villain role. For a superhero, this was one of those times when they could go all-out without thinking about the damage they could unleash. Usually, they'd need to hold back or withhold some of their strength while dealing with villains in order to portray themselves as good people.
