บท 30: Chapter 28- Easy Money
Sachiko headed to the room number Satoru told her and soon found Misaki lying in a hospital bed.
Her neck seemed to be stitched up and the doctors might have performed surgery for it.
As Sachiko stood there quietly for a while and thought of what she should say, Misaki had already seen her.
"I..am glad you are okay." She said in a hoarse voice.
"I'm glad you're fine as well" Sachiko said to her. "Even tho you could've died if you hadn't met Satoru.."
Misaki let out a soft laugh at that, "I guess..I just couldn't leave you to die, especially when you ended up in that situation because of me."
"I guess.."
"Right? Oh...I haven't even told you my name, have I?" Misaki said, "I'm Nakamura Misaki."
"Nakamura Sachiko. I guess we even share the same family name." Sachiko said with a chuckle.
"I don't know but I'm starting to think it's fate bringing us together or something." Misaki said.
"Well, I don't know, may be?"
"I mean I had a baby girl eighteen years ago. She didn't make it past the few days." Misaki said quietly.
"I'm sorry.."
"I remember her having the similar shade of silver hair. I know it's been like eighteen years, and I don't even know why I'm getting so emotional after seeing you.." She admitted.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't be talking all those stuff to you.." Misaki continued.
"It's uhh..it's okay."
"Thank you...for saving me and coming to see me again." Misaki told her.
"It's okay. I hope you a speedy recovery, Misaki san. I can call you that, right?"
"Yes, I also called you Sachiko chan so I don't see why not." Misaki said with a laugh.
Sachiko smiled a bit at that.
She spent a few minutes before leaving and they ended up exchanging their numbers.

For three days in Jujutsu Kaisen world, Sachiko spent her time visiting Misaki and exorcising curses in the hospital Misaki was staying in. She also trained her cursed techniques Nullify and Reverse Cursed Technique for about an hour everyday. The results were upgrading mastery of Nullify to Advanced Beginner and over 3000 curse points.
Then, she went back to Hunter x Hunter world.
Opening her eyes again, Sachiko found herself in her room.
The sky was still dark as she left around midnight. But since she wasn't sleepy yet, she decided to read some manga she took from Jujutsu Kaisen world.
Next morning, Sachiko brought Killua to Heavens Arena to place some bets on her. She went up to 130th floor first but on the way up, she pretended to struggle more and more.
"Killua, I'll lose on this floor to go back to 100th floor so don't bet on me for this match. Bet on my opponent instead, alright?" Sachiko told Killua as she went up to the 130th floor.
"Okay, but is this necessary?" Killua asked her and raused his eyebrows.
"Nope, but this is easy money so I'm gonna get as much as I can." Sachiko said happily as she planned on how to lose the upcoming match.
"You and your games..." Killua muttered under his breath.
The match soon came and Sachiko headed to stage. This time, she wore a bit tired look on her face and even her steps seemed to be a bit heavier. Despite that, she looked like she acting strong which unfortunately was seen through by keen audience.
Sachiko's opponent this time was a tall and skinny guy. It seemed that he was quite famous for breaking his opponents' legs to ensure they couldn't run away.
As soon as the match started, Sachiko initiated an attack but her leg was 'injured' when her opponent broke it with a twist.
It was actually a minor injury at best but Sachiko pretended that her leg was broken so that the audience would be convinced of her 'loss' later.
Then, she tried despartely to dodge the attacks of her opponent. Yet, it was getting harder as her broken leg held her down. Eventually, she ran out of stamina and lost consciousness, leading to her first loss in Heavens Arena.
A few minutes later, Sachiko was carried back to the resting room in 120th floor and Killua came to visit her when there wasn't anyone around.
"Wake up, eyepatch lady. You are back in 120th Floor now." Killua said with a sigh after seeing Sachiko was still pretending to be unconsious.
"I know but most importantly, how much did we earn?" Sachiko got up quickly and asked.
"Let's see..I bet 50 million on your opponent this match and the stakes were 1.8 for him so we got 90 million for this match. For previous two matches, I got 60 million and 45 million." Killua replied.
"So, 195 million in a day and prize money's not included yet? That's a good amount!" Sachiko exclaimed.
"It's so good that it's worth breaking your whole leg." Killua said sarcastically.
"Nah, it was a bit of a fracture but it's fine now. I heal pretty quickly." Sachiko told him although she actually used Reverse Cursed Technique on it to heal it almost completely. With a few more tries, she could probably heal it completely.
Killua didn't have to know that yet so she decided to just say she healed quickly.
Killua frowned but didn't comment on it further.
Sachiko didn't participate in more matches and even took a leave for two days.
The next day, Killua went to Heavens Arena to register and Gon asked Sachiko if he could go as well.
"Come on, Sachiko san. I want to fight too." Gon said.
"Alright, but you can't go to 200th floor before being able to use nen. So take some time and not rush through floors." Sachiko told him.
"Okay!" Gon replied cheerfully after he heard what he wanted to hear.
"Alright, let's go then." Sachiko said as she grabbed a few crutches and walked with the help of them.
"Uhh...Sachiko san, what are you doing?" Gon asked, puzzled.
"Me? I'm coming with you two to bet on you guys so that I can get more money." Sachiko answered.
"No..I mean the crutches?" Gon muttered.
Unable to watch anymore, Killua explained with a sigh, "She lost a match on purpose yesterday to make more money and apparently, her leg was supposed to be broken in that match."
"Supposed to be? So..were you pretending that your leg was broken?"
"No, she said she got a fracture but she healed quickly but apparently, she wants to pretend like she is still injured." Killua replied to Gon.
"Oh.."
"Can we go now?" Sachiko said impatiently.
"Oh right, let's go." Gon said before starting to run in excitement.
"So, Killua, how's your Ten doing? Show me." Sachiko said before Killua could catch up to Gon.
Killua nodded and showed his Ten which was actually impressive for a two days progress.
"Looking good. Don't forget to practice at least a few hours and if you're feeling like a madman, try to keep it at all times. You won't get it in a day but the longer you try to do that, the easier it becomes so yeah." Sachiko told him.
"I will give it a try."
"Good, now let's go." Sachiko said after using Ten as well.
"Is this how Ten supposed to look like after training like you said?" Killua asked. "This is my first time seeing it but it looks a lot stronger than mine."
"I've been training for longer than you have. And yeah, probably. If you master it enough, you can maintain it in your sleep." Sachiko said.
"Amazing."
"It is! Now let's catch up to Gon or he'd be alone at Heavens Arena." Sachiko said with a laugh.
So, they both kept using Ten as they walked towards the arena. Only when they were almost there, Sachiko stopped using Ten and Killua followed suit although he was still confused.
"Why'd you stop using it? You said it'd provide protection against nen attacks and you can maintain it.." Killua asked.
"Oh, no reason, I just want to pretend like a non user to play with some nen users on 200th floor. You don't have to stop using Ten like me." Sachiko told him.
"Okay." Killua said.
They entered the arena and saw Gon waiting at the reception.
"Killua! Sachiko san!" Gon waved his hands as he called their names.
"Hey, Gon, have you registered yet?" Sachiko asked.
"No, I've been waiting for Killua and you." Gon replied.
"Okay, let's register." Killua nudged Gon's shoulder and they started registering.
Then, they got to the waiting seats and sat down.
Soon, Gon and Killua's names were called and they both defeated their opponents in one move. Gon got to start at the 50th floor and Killua also decided to start at 50th floor as well, as he wanted to make himself more familiar with nen before getting to 200th floor.
"Good work, guys. Let's go eat at the most expensive restaurant for dinner!" Sachiko said.
"If you're paying, sure." Killua said.
"I mean we don't exactly have money yet." Gon muttered.
"You're gonna get prize money if you win tho so I don't really see a problem." Sachiko said.
"I guess that's true.." Gon mumbled.
"Alright, now off to 50th floor." Sachiko pushed the two into the elevator.
On 50th floor, Killua had a match with a random guy and Sachiko placed 30 million bet on Killua and got 60 million when Killua won and advanced to 60th floor.
She did the same for Gon's turn and got another 60 million. Since she initially placed 30 million each into bet, she got a profit of 60 million jenny.
Then, she placed 50 million bet on Killua and Gon at 60th floor and this time Killua's stakes were 1.8 and Gon's were 2. So, Sachiko got forty million profit from betting on Killua and fifty million profit from betting on Gon.
All in all, Sachiko got 150 million jenny profit in one day.
Talk about easy money!
Sachiko was proud of herself. They were about to head home when Sachiko saw Wing and Zushi coming out of the elevator.
"Wing san? What a coincidence!" Sachiko said with a smile.
Wing eyed at the crutches Sachiko was using and how she was acting overly excited and frowned a bit before moving on to look at Gon and Killua behind her.
"Ah..indeed. They must be Killua kun and Gon kun you mentioned before." He said.
"Yeah, the white haired kiddo's my adopted brother, Killua and the green kiddo's Gon." Sachiko introduced the two to Wing.
"Nice to meet you, Killua kun and Gon kun. I'm Wing and this is my student, Zushi."
"Osu." Zushi said.
"Killua, he looks like he's the same age as us!" Gon said excitedly.
"How old are you?"
"I'm 12." Zushi answered Gon.
"See, Killua?" Gon nudged Killua's shoulders.
"Yeah.."
"Ne..Wing san, they look like they are having fun. They're even the same age." Sachiko said excitedly.
"Indeed." Wing nodded, "I take it that you are already teaching them nen."
"Yeah..I mean they already passed Hunter exam." Sachiko replied.
"In that case, why don't we have them train together? Since Killua kun can already use it, I think it'd be beneficial for them." Wing said.
"I think that's a good idea. What do you think?" Sachiko turned to ask Killua and Gon.
Killua said, "If it's beneficial, fine by me."
Gon rubbed his head and said, "I..still can't use it yet so.."
"Well, it's been like 2 days since you started meditating so give it a bit more time." Sachiko said to Gon.
"I know..but I also want to train with Killua and Zushi here." Gon pouted.
"I know."
"You said that there's also a second method, right? Can I use it instead?" Gon asked. "I just don't want to be meditating alone when I could be training with Killua."
Wing looked at Gon with a frown and glanced at Sachiko to see her reaction.
Sachiko hit Gon's head with one of her crutches.
"Do you want to risk being crippled? I told you the risk!"
"It hurts!" Gon yelled.
"Eyepatch lady is right, Gon. You should stick to what you're doing right now." Killua said to Gon who was now rubbing his head.
"But you said it's a risk and you'd be careful, right?" Gon muttered.
This time, Killua hit him in the head, "Idiot, why would you even risk for it? Didn't she say you should be able to do it in a short time?"
"But...Isn't it better to be quicker so that I can hand Hisoka his badge earlier?" Gon said.
Sachiko shook her head, "No, I say no to that for your own good. I have never opened aura nodes for others so I'm not doing it."
"....But.."
Sachiko sighed, "If you refuse to follow my advice, you're more than welcome to find someone else to do it for you. But, then, I can't teach you anymore."
"Sachiko san...."
"No."
"..okay, I will continue meditating." Gon said, dejected.
"Don't worry too much. I personally think you can do it in a week." Sachiko told Gon.
"A week?"
"Yeah, so work hard instead of thinking other things, alright?"
"Okay." Gon gave a quiet nod.
"So, it's settled. What about Zushi coming over a week later from now?Gon should've opened his aura nodes by then and three of them can train together." Sachiko suggested.
"Come over?"
"Oh, I meant my house. We got a room dedicated to teach nen and open space in the courtyard if needed for training." Sachiko explained to Wing.
"I see, if that is the case then, we will come over to your house."
"Great! I'd give you my phone number but I don't have my phone right now so why don't you give me your contact information instead?" Sachiko said.
Wing nodded and wrote his phone number on a piece of paper.
"Thanks, I'll call you and give you the address later."Sachiko put the paper into her pocket.
After that, the three of them ended up watching Zushi's match and learned that today was the second day since Zushi returned to Heavens Arena after his defeat on 50th floor. Turned out Wing told him to train a bit more before allowing him to participate in matches again.
