บท 253: 252 – News from Dune Country

Sylvia's instincts were proved to be right later in the day when Professor Luke turned up at Sirocco's office to look for Ren instead of going to Zephyr's office to look for Fang.

Unfortunately for him, the time he chose to turn up was actually lunch time, and Ren wasn't in office. Pax had deferred the lunch meeting as promised, and both Ren and Pax were currently enjoying a meal with Fang, Uno and their friend the minister from Sand Country.

The minister was very happy to meet Ren and Fang, as always. He was even happier when Ren passed him a big box of handmade cookies and cupcakes to take back home.

"Chairman Ren, I have to say, I've never has any cookie or cupcake as delicious as yours," the minister said cheerfully. "If you weren't already the owner of such a successful business empire, you could have been the top-most chef in the world!"
