บท 73: Chapter Seventy Two: Ignore

Becca stood in front of Raquel, holding her shoulder, she stared at her with tenderness in her eyes. Something Becca never thought she would ever have to do, especially with someone like Raquel.

Guess it took seeing her vulnerable to know she had a part of her that wasn't bitchy. To know that she was still human.

Becca racked her brain, trying to come up with a way to help or at least stop Raquel from being a sacrificial lamb for her family's financial crisis.

Despite the bad blood between them, Becca couldn't just do nothing, especially when she could have. It just wasn't in her nature to leave people suffering.

" Don't worry, Raquel. I will see what I can do." Becca assured and Raquel shot her a skeptical look.

" Why would you help? Aren't I your arch-nemesis?" Raquel asked skeptically, sobbing softly and Becca gave her a gentle smile that baffled her.
