The next day, we traveled to the woods next to the Palace for the hunt.

Mona explained to me as we walked, "Everyone is aware of the rules so there won't be any explanation before we enter. However, I know you have never participated so I will tell you about it. The goal is to catch the spirit beasts and whoever has the most wins. The hunt isn't over until all of the beasts are caught. However, this hunt is more about your survival skills than anything else. Before you enter the forest there is a necklace you must keep on. It prevents the individual from using magic. Now, there are a few things that would disqualify you from the hunt. If you use magic or kill any of the spiritual beasts, your necklace will shine and you will be disqualified. Do not take this lightly. It's very shameful if you get disqualified."
