We got to Akkad by ship. The emperor said it was safer for me and the baby. The road was too rough for us to take.

Throughout the journey, I thought of what the ok'd woman said. I still remembered her voice and how she pronounced those words. They scared me to death.

"I told you…we shouldn't have visited her," Lyla always told me. She said the old woman was fond of bad events. Nothing good comes out of her mouth.

I knew that was not case. She gave me both good and bad news. I was going to give the empire, it's first male heir. Not just that, the emperor was going to have a son and Heather, a brother to play with.

Grandmother, queen Valeria and prince Elvin will not be there to disturb us.
