Although she knew from the last time that Maya Morales was losing weight, she now looked like a completely different person, appearing even thinner with makeup on.

Looking at her like this, Lance Collins seemed to feel something... he became somewhat unsettled.

However, remembering that she hadn't replied to his messages in ages, he frowned and went over to her. Amidst the gasps of surprise from onlookers, he grabbed Maya by the arm.

"Why are you only just getting here? I've been waiting for you for ages," he complained.

Maya Morales calmly brushed off his hand and raised her eyes to look ahead.

"I was getting my makeup done."

Lance Collins wasn't sure if it was just his imagination, but he felt that Maya's words were rather cold.

However, the ceremony was about to begin.

"Don't forget to announce the collaboration between the Morales and Collins families later," he quickly added.
