"It's not necessary." He scarcely moved his deep-set eyes in her direction, flicking a glance at the brooch, "Since you found it, it's now yours."

A rush of excitement ignited in Isla Winslow's eyes.

"You're giving it to me?"

"Yes." Dylan Collins turned around and walked away.

Isla Winslow held onto the costly brooch, her excitement barely containable.
