บท 81: Chapter 81 - Unspoken Tension

With the flaunting jazz music filling the air, everyone was getting ready. The time was clocking down on the main event, and so the seats on the round tables were gradually occupied. 

Claire's socialite circle dispersed on their own once the woman gently gestured for them to return to their respective tables.

However, their steps halted not long after the outermost crowd slowly split and excitement returned to fan the air inside the magnificent hall.

With all those power and wealth they yielded, the attending four board members of the Falcon Group asserted their unchallenged status as soon as their footsteps led out of the luxurious cars.

There were nine to begin with, but if taken to a matter of survival, only eight remained since one of them had 'mysteriously' died out of suicide.
