บท 27: Rough patch

  On the road, her feet dug into the ground when a monster jabbed her, blood oozed down her nostrils, her eyes focused intently the murky hollow ones, its sharp teeth elongated. It stood seven feet tall, its skin was a demonic grey, with fins under her arms, webbed hands and toes, black wet hair falling down its face staring at her hungrily, to destroy her.

The people around were spectating, some videotaping, she went full contour to cover up, it's breathing was harsh, it braced itself and lunged giving her a spinning kick, Darcy phased through.

The monster's eyes dilated and it screeched when Darcy pulled back its hair from behind throwing it down, it fell with a loud thud, the asphalt crackled from under it at the collision. Startling the spectators causing them to disperse screaming in terror. Vehicles backed away at the collision upfront avoiding danger as much as possible.
