บท 52: Visitors

The journey to the town, was eerily quiet. Leaving early in the morning was the ideal time to leave to avoid the darkness and to keep things secretive but the dark stalkers were gaining strength somehow.

They began arriving earlier than before, giving everyone less time to return to safety if they left the barriers.

Without a way to keep them at bay, many people would be in danger.

Damien's heart was heavy after confirming that Ansel was the person who went missing recently. Everyone else was accounted for. He feared that she was who the darkness had taken. Ansel was like a mother to many in the circus, including him. Even though she disagreed with many of the things he did, she always took care of him as best she could. She wouldn't deserve a death by the dark stalkers.
