As time went on, Leo kept winning fights, soon making it to eleven wins and zero losses. Alot of people, Sunny Morgan included, look notice of the young fighters growing progress. Meanwhile, William was making his mark as an amateur. The future looked bright for them.
One night, as Leo is about to leave the gym, two men walk in. He recognizes the two as they are the guys who sat with Morgan during his fights.
"Nice place." One of them says.
"Gyms closed, boys." Leo tells them.
As the two men slowly approaches him, Leo starts to get uneasy about the situation.
"We didn't come here to work out." The other man says.
"What's going on?" Leo asks.
"We came to have a little talk."
One of the men grabs Leo by the arm, but Leo knocks his hand away. He throws a punch at the young fighter, with Leo dodging, kicking him to the ground. The other guy tries to pull a gun on him, but Leo quickly stops him, punching him in the face. As Leo grabs the gun, the other man pulls out his and hits him in the back of the head with it, knocking him to the ground.
The second guy gets up with a broken nose and picks up his gun with a towel. As the first guy starts putting handcuffs on Leo, the young man soon realized that they weren't Morgan's thugs, but dirty cops on his payroll. The cop with the broken nose then grabs Leo by the face.
"Wrong fucking move, kid."
He then slams his head into the ground, knocking him out.
The next day a news report about Leo on ESPN airs.
"Before we get into tonight's action, some shocking news this week involving middleweight prospect, Leo Saint. Reports are coming in that Saint has been arrested for allegedly carrying an unlicensed firearm and assaulting two police officers. Details remain spotty, but the word is there was an altercation in the late hours of the evening between Saint and the police at a local gym in Brooklyn New York."
