She watched as they left the chaotic scene one by one. First are the guards who ran after the heartless merchant. Then Lord Emilio and King Leandro.

The market slowly returned to its normal atmosphere, where the only noises that could be heard were brisk footsteps and negotiations of the vendors and their consumers.

Aisha wanted to take her hood off as she felt herself perspiring profusely. But she couldn't.

She may have escaped the guards that have accused her as an assaulter of the King. But not as a murderer who plotted against the noble people's lives three years ago.

Though she wasn't aware if she was really proven guilty or not then. She could not risk exposing herself, for the sake of her son.

Aisha peeked from her hiding place again to see what was happening.

"Let us go, your Majesty," Lord Emilio continued to coax the King into leaving.
