I held Vasili's hand tightly as we climbed down the stairs of my fathers jet. To others it might have seemed that I was just being overbearing, but my presence seemed to help make Vasili feel safe. Since yesterday when I found him crying in the garden he had been awfully quiet. During dinner he engaged but anyone could tell something was off. Amanda had pulled me aside to ask and I simply told her he was still affected from the Ace encounter. 

I tried to be with him at all times and I hoped it helped somehow. He had not even bothered to dress up today, he simply threw on one of my large shirts with a pair of black shorts and white sneakers. His hair was up in a messy bun and his eyes covered with sunglasses to hide the obvious dark circles under his eyes from the lack of sleep.
