บท 8: Chapter 7
I stirred in my sleep "demons are laughing all around me, their voices echoing inside my mind. Run Maddison, run Maddison. Get out of here before you cause more chaos."
I woke up screaming, my heart is beating fast I didn't know what to do or who to run to, but one thing I did know is that I ended up at Asmodeus door. The door was unlocked, and I walked in.
Asmodeus was asleep and I decided to go to the other side of his bed and crawled next to him. For some off reason he made me feel safe. I don't know why, but it was safe with him.
I laid awake for a little bit and the voices started up again, "run Maddison, run Maddison," was all I could hear.
Asmodeus stirred in his sleep and I tried not to move, I was trying not to wake him up from his slumber. I was able to doze off after an hour of being awake and the voices finally died down.
I saw the fire and the brimstone of hell. I saw myself standing over the bodies of the demons that challenge me. I saw my hands covered in blood. Asmodeus stood afar and the wicked smile played across his lips. Evil is what I have become. Chaos has broken lose.
I saw the faces of the demons and the ones who kneeled before me. The demons followed my command and my lead. Asmodeus was proud of what I have become, I wore the crown and the glory of overtaking Hell.
I smiled because I know the damage that I can cause and the fury that I can unleash upon this world.
I woke up to Asmodeus peering over me like he saw a ghost. I rubbed my eyes and spoke, "why are you looking at me like you saw a ghost?"
"I'm pretty sure I just did. I woke up and you were screaming and yelling in your sleep." Asmodeus looked concerned
"Just nightmares are what I'm having. I have had nightmares since I was a kid." I spoke softly and touched his face.
I watched as Asmodeus got up out of bed and got dressed, "we have a long day ahead of us Maddison. Today is the day where we meet in front of the council, and we are going to announce that you are the rightful heir to become queen."
"Are you sure you want to do that?" I asked and got out of the bed.
Asmodeus chuckled softly, "yes I am sure. Now go get dressed and dress like a queen. There should be some outfits in your closet, and I will bring in your crown into you when you are done."
I nodded my head and I walked back into my bedroom. I went through my closet and found this red dress hanging in the closet I looked it over and decided against it. I continue to look to I settled on a slim fitting blue dress that went shy of my ankles. I chose a pair of black high heels to compliment the outfit. I decided to wear my hair up high and pin it up
I heard a softly knock on the door I walked over to the door and opened the. Asmodeus stood there in an all-black suit and tie. I swore I saw his face turn multiple different shades of red.
Asmodeus motioned me over to him,
"tip your head a bit forward, so that I can place the crown onto your head."
I smiled softly and tipped my head down forward as he placed the crown onto my head.
"You look absolutely stunning Maddison." Asmodeus spoke and held out his hand to me.
I smiled as I took his hand into mine. I held my head high as he led the way to the council room. I watched as he opened the door and Asmodeus walked through and I followed right behind him.
I heard the gasps as we walked through the doors, and I know in fact that a lot of the council members aren't happy with Asmodeus.
"How dare you bring a human girl into this meeting, Asmodeus?" One of the council members asked.
"He obsessed with human girls, remember, Leviathan?" One of the other council members stated.
"Oh, that it is correct he has always been obsessed with little human girls. Let's see how long this one last, Belphegor." Leviathan threw a wicked smile at me. I can feel my face begin to heat with anger.
I felt the power rise within me, and I spoke through clenched teeth loud and clear to where the council members shut up really quickly, "I am not a normal human girl that you claim me to be. I am me and I am to become queen alongside Asmodeus. If you dare charge against me. I'll end you all without a single though in mind."
Asmodeus chuckled as he watched me burn up with anger, "I told you she is not a normal human, but she is definitely much more. I suppose it time to tell everyone the truth to why Maddison is truly here, and what her true calling is."
I was fueling with fury and ready to take on anyone, then one of the council members spoke up, "tell us what? What is so special about this human?"
"Beelzebub, if you must know. You must wait as well." Asmodeus chuckled and walked towards me.
"Tell us now, or forever hold your peace and get her the hell out of the council room." Leviathan spoke through clenched teeth.
Asmodeus flashed a wicked smile a smile that was well known to all, "Maddison is the daughter of Seth."
"The God of Chaos?" Belphegor spoke and got out of his seat getting ready to attack.
"Yes, she is the daughter of Seth the God of Chaos, and no if you touch her you will pay dearly for it." Asmodeus spoke and went to block Belphegor from attacking me.
"How dare you bring this fucking daughter of Seth into Hell Asmodeus?" Belphegor charged at Asmodeus.
"She is the rightful heir to the throne, ask the devil himself." Asmodeus spoke with hint of ratification.
"Lucifer isn't here currently, Asmodeus." Leviathan spoke.
"I'm fully aware of where the Devil is, and when he returns, you may ask him about the deal he made." Asmodeus spoke and walked out of the council room.
