บท 32: Family story
Travis's pov
We wake up early the next day. Then we went to the graveyard where her mom was buried. We prayed for her for a while. She said something to her beloved mom. Then we departed from there in my car. She cried all night. She didn't sleep all night. She was so depressed till now. She didn't want to eat anything in the morning also. She didn't talk at all. She remains mute all the way back. It looks like she's changed quite a lot. I felt so sorry for her. But I don't know how can I made her overcome this matter? It's all my fault that she had been through a difficult time. We reached home while I thinking about these things all over the road. I stopped the car in front of Ilhan's workplace. We both got down from the car. I led her to Ilhan. I saw Trena was also there. We got close to Ilhan but Len didn't put up her face. Trena was near to the table.
Trena rush to me and said, "Oh so she's your mate. You really love her. You went crazy because of her-"
I quickly slapped her mouth shut and said, "Now she is not in a position to joke. So shut up for a few minutes."
Trena removed my hand from her mouth and said, "We couldn't meet each other that day because of that scene. But we'd introduce each other this time."
I grab her hand and I am about to drag her outside. Before we left suddenly Ilhan told her, "I know I don't deserve your forgiveness. But I'm really sorry, Len."
This time Len lifted her face up and look at him. I saw something that I had never seen before. I saw Ilhan was crying. He started crying the moment he saw Len's face."
Len brought out a tissue and said, "Hey, Why are you crying? I've already forgiven you. So don't cry. Now wipe your tears with this."
He said, "Thank you for forgiving me after I did all that."
Len told him, "Don't be sad. You did something wrong but I should be thankful to you too."
He asked her, "What? But why?"
Len said, "Because of you I get to see my sick mom. If you didn't force me, then I will never leave."
He again asked her, "Now how's she?"
Len replied, "....She's died."
He further asked, "When and how?"
Len answered, "Two days ago. She was suffered from lung disease. It became worst and then she died."
He said, "From now on I'll do anything to protect you. You can acknowledge me as you brother. I'm so sorry that I couldn't understand you back then."
Len said, "Then do you believe now that I wasn't acting with him that time and I have really loved him ever since?"
He said, "Yeah. I get it at the moment you looked behind with tearful eyes of yours and told me that. But I had no choice back then, I didn't want to Travis get in trouble like before. But I also didn't want him to suffer like before. After you leave, he became a broken glass. It can't be fixed without you. So I told him everything and he went to find you. He had been looking for you so much. But couldn't find it. Then one day I remember that you gave me your home address. Then I gave him that."
Meanwhile, I told Trena everything about Len. Trena told me, "You go and get him out of my sight, or else I'll kill him right now. He did the same things with me."
Trena went to Len and said, "Let's go home. I brought various types of muffins made by my aunt. Let's go and eat that...Oh, I remember you're a vampire. Can you eat human food?"
She said, "Yeah, I can. Not long ago, I was a human being. I think I can eat everything because of it. I don't face any problem in eating."
Trena told her, "That's great. Then let's go."
I drag Ilhan with me and followed them. Trena said, "Why are you guys follow us?"
Ilhan told her, "We're hungry too."
Trena said to him, "But I didn't bring those for you. So I also won't give you."
Then we all reached home. Then Trena prepared muffins for us. Trena told me, "Brother, let's go somewhere next time. I've to go tonight."
I agreed with a little nod and said, "Yeah as your wish."
Then Trena asked Len, "What's your name, Sister-in-law?"
Len got blushed and said, "My name is Lennox. I'm from Austin, Texas. What's your?"
Trena said, "I'm Trena wood. I have a doubt on your name."
She asked her, "What's it?"
Trena said, "Sorry but can you tell me why do you have a boyish name?"
Len said, "My real name is Lena Evans. After my dad divorced my mom, I changed my name. I didn't like the previous name."
Trena told her, "Tell me about you."
Lena said to her, "I have only two friends. I came here with them but There's small quarrel occurred and I left them behind. Then I came deeper into this forest. There was an incident that happened and I became like this. Then your brother Travis brings me here to save me."
Trena said, "Oh that's how you two meet each other. Tell me more."
She said to her, "From my childhood, I loved to do interesting things. Like bringing venomous animals into home, try to fit on the wardrobe, ascend outside of warehouses or jump from two of three floors."
Trena said, "They are so much dangerous. You shouldn't do those things."
She told her, "Kinda but I like those things. You're sound like my mom. My mom always scolded me for this. I lost my little sister because of my fault. Now I didn't have anyone."
Trena shouted at her, "Who said you have none. We are your family now. I'm your sister, Ilhan is your brother and Travis is your soulmate"
Len hugged Trena and said, "Thank you very much for accepting me the way I am."
Trena told her, "Don't be like this. You're my only brother's mate. How can I not accept you? I'd accept everything my brother wants."
