บท 31: Death
Travis's pov
After working so hard, I finally found her address. I was heading there after Ilhan gave me her address. I was passionate to see her again. I reached there. I was about to knock on the door. I saw the door was open. I heard a crying sound. So I went inside. They're all over darkness. I saw Len was sitting in a huddle in a corner of the darkroom. I rushed to her.
I asked, "Len, What happened?"
She lifted her face upside and looked with swollen eyes and dark circles under her eyes. She looked like she lost some weight and was very fragile. As soon as she saw me, she jumped on me and said in a depressed voice, "I missed you so much. I just prayed for you to come here. I think my wish is granted now"
I also hugged and told her, "Me too."
She said to me while sobbing, "I felt so much lonely. I thought there was no one left for me in this world. I thought I would never be able to meet you. Thank you so much. Thanks"
I wiped her tears and asked, "Why're you crying?"
She cried out loudly and said, "M..my mom... um um… is... no more."
Suddenly, I felt pinching pain in my chest. I asked her with a shocked face, "When did she die?"
She shed her tears and said, "Yesterday morning."
I again asked, "How it all happened?"
She replied, "She was suffered from lung disease and I didn't even know this. When I get to know about it, It was too late. If I knew a little sooner, then I could take proper care of her. It's all my fault."
I told her in an indifferent voice, "Don't blame yourself."
She said, "How could I not blame myself? When I came back, she was so sick. She told me she thought I leave her like my dad and sister. She even asked me that is she so bad that everyone left her alone. When she told me that I felt so much pain in my heart. So begin to take more care of her. By doing this, I learned about her illness. I also admitted her to the nearest hospital but I couldn't save her. I promised her that I'll never leave her again. But she left me now. After I returned, I thought I could never be able to see you. I thought I'm all alone now."
I felt so bad for her. I patted her head and said, "Cry as much as you want. Time will change everything. Everything will be alright."
She told me while weeping, "I promised myself that if I could survive from that forest, I would do what my mother told me to do. But I didn't even get the chance. What can I do for her now? I should have come here sooner. If, only if I could come sooner."
I was speechless. I hold her more tightly. My tears begin to flow now. We both cried until we calmed down. After a while, she asked, "Why're you here?"
I replied, "I come here to bring you back to the home."
She again asked, "What? Why?"
I said, "Because you're my mate and I want to live with you. So let's live together in my home."
She trembled and said in a low voice, "Didn't Ilhan refuse you to come here or meet with me?"
I told her, "No, he didn't say anything. On the contrary, he finds me your address. So don't be afraid."
She said to me, "Really! How can I believe it? He told me so many things after knowing that I'm a vampire. He told me you're disappointed very much in me and very angry on me. So you left me there like that. He even told me you'd never want to see me again. I begged him so much that I'll just meet you once. But he didn't permit me and force me to come home."
I told her, "I think he understands his fault now. So he helped me this time. Whatever, tell me why do you want to meet me that day?"
She said, "Because I desperately want to say you that I wasn't acting with you the whole time and you have to believe me. All of that was real. But I didn't get a chance to tell you that because you left there and I was also hurt from Ilhan's shove that I couldn't even move that time."
I told her, "I wasn't left there because I thought you're acting. I was rush to grab some medicine for you. And even if you really do act with I'll never let you go. Because you're my mate and I love you so much."
She perplexedly said, "Really! I misunderstood all those things."
I said, "You said that you were not acting with me. Then you really loved me."
She told me, "Yeah. I really really love you. I'm glad that you didn't misunderstand me."
I asked, "Did you tell your mom that you're a vampire."
She replied, "I didn't get the chance."
I said, "That's great. if you tell her about it then she would be more depressed. Now Let's sleep here for tonight. We'll go back to my home tomorrow. We'll also marry each other after Ilhan and Trena's wedding."
She asked with a shocked face, "What? Isn't Trena your sister?"
I replied, "Yeah. There's a long story behind them. I didn't even know the whole story. So we'll talk about it later."
