Travis's pov
For a moment I become speechless. Before I said anything she told me, "I just know about the mating system in werewolf as you told. I mean earlier you've told me that every werewolf have has a mate chosen by their moon goddess something like this so I asked if you've or not. And what do you mean by your own consequences? "
I told her, "I had a mate back then."
She tilted as she was confused and asked, "Had? Did she leave you now?"
"Do you want to know where she's now?" While I look at the sky.
She said, sorry with a sad face and also told me, "I will be pleased if tell me about it. You can tell only If you want."
I told her, "I'll tell you then. But we should go back now."
She said, "Ok, let's go."
We came back home. Then we ate our lunch. After eating she said to me, "Tell me now. I'm so passionate to hear about your story."
I smirked and said, "So you are very interested in this."
She said to me with a beaming face, "Yeah."
I begin my story now, "I always wanted to meet my fated mate from my core of heart even before my certain age. I also believed in my destiny which was given by the Moon goddess who decides our destiny as we worship her. I know there is someone waiting for me. she will be my one and only mate.
Every werewolf has a keen sense of smell than other creatures. They use this intense sense of smell while hunting. There were some flaws with my olfactory ability. I couldn't smell any other scents. So I always had to hunt with my uncle. But when I was 14 years old, one day while hunting in a nearby forest with my uncle, I had got the smelling sense. It was my first time smelling someone else's scent. So my uncle was so much delighted. Then we went there to meet my mate. I could clearly smell my mate's scent from the town. I still remember her scent quite vividly. Her scent was mild and sweet, it's like a lavender dip in vanilla. I fell in love with the scent of her for the first time.
I was about to go to her but my uncle forbade me to go to her because when we went there to see her, we saw that she was a 10-year-old child and lived in the city. That means she's a human being. At that time, there's a rule that we can't go to a human's place for any kind of works. So I couldn't go there in respect of my uncle and at that time I can't even do the shifting, I mean I was not in the proper situation to meet my mate for the first time. So I didn't go to meet her.
Meanwhile, my family had already decided who I should marry in the future even before I was born. Her name was Zelda. She's a child back then. So they decided to wait for her. When she will become 18 years old her family wants her to get married to me because she will gain her wolf power and be able to control it. They didn't even ask for my opinion. When I heard about it from my uncle, I turned down the offer but they did not listen to me.
One day, she, herself come to me to talk. She told me, "I love you so much."
I told her, "But I can't accept your love because I would like to marry my fated mate."
When I refused her, she immediately accepted my denial and told me, "If you ever lose her, then you come to me anytime in the future."
I was shocked by her statement. But who knows that she had made the worst plan to kill my mate along with my family?
Suddenly Lennox told me, "I'm sorry but I'm so thirsty right now."
I asked her, "Do you need my blood?
She answered, "No no, I will cooperate with water."
I said to her, "Then wait I'll get some water for you."
I went to bring her some water. When I came I saw she looks so sick. So I gave her my blood to cure her. She drinks my blood so desperately and then falls asleep on my lap. I put her in the bed. Her scent always drove me to the time of my mate. I acknowledge her as my mate all the time and now she became a vampire. How can I live with her in this town? This thought makes me cry so loudly and I also begin to cry. Suddenly after half an hour I heard the door open's sound as wipe my tears and find Ilhan by looking behind. I flinched for a bit when I realized he saw me crying. I went to him and told him to leave me alone for a while. I know he will ask me about this. But I'm not in a certain situation now.
