บท 94: Part 10 - Who ordered sushi? 16/??

"First, we need to see this 'Momo' of theirs," replied Yosaku. "By the way, Nami," turning to the girl, said the guy "hold this for me until the end of the fight," he handed Nami a cigarette case and a guillotine he had taken from the inner pocket of his red kimono. "Let's go," he added to Johnny, moving towards the trio who had challenged them," let's see what these publicized fishmen are really worth. The small fry has already disappointed me, so let's hope the others don't."

"Publicized?" Johnny raised an eyebrow, obediently following his friend. "By whom?

"By the Marine, who else? If you've forgotten, Arlong's bounty was the highest in the East Blue for a whole eight years, and only Buggy's bounty recently surpassed it, and only because of us."

"That makes sense," Johnny nodded in understanding. "Although, essentially, it's just pig-headed boasting. All pirates, sooner or later, head to the Grand Line, so if they didn't, there would be plenty of people in the East Blue with much higher bounties than twenty million. And I bet they're much stronger than this bunch of fools."

"That's true"

At that moment, the octopus-merman, stretching his lips to such an extent that even the Long-Lip standing next to him could envy, blew a loud but short melody.

"Stretched lips as a trumpet: there's always something new in this world," Johnny muttered.

"They should all perform in a circus" Yosaku interjected.

The guys stopped, waiting for the appearance of the unknown 'Momo.' The other fishmen did the same, but the difference was that the guys were genuinely hoping for a good fight, so they didn't mind waiting a bit, while the fishmen simply didn't consider them to be their equals. It seemed like they didn't want to dirty their hands on them. At least Arlong and his trio of officers felt that way. The other fishmen were more pretending than truly believing that. Ego is one thing, but the two dozen unconscious bodies hinted at what their chances of victory would be without their captain and his top officers.

" You'd think the same thing could be said about us," Johnny scoffed. "I think your saw trick would take on a whole new meaning. Just imagine: first, the heart-wrenching screams when you're actually being sawn, blood everywhere, then the sawn box opens, and your internal organs fall to the floor, and then the box closes and BAM! You're as good as new…"

"Then you do the fire tricks."

"Perfect, now we know what we can always do if pirate life ever bores us."

"We haven't even had a chance to really experience pirate life yet for it to bore us."

"…Honestly, I can't wait until I get my first bounty," Johnny's eyes literally lit up with an inner light, like a small child promised a long-awaited toy. "We've hunted bounty heads for so long, I'm really curious what it's like to be on the other side of the law."

"As if we've ever followed the law" Yosaku snorted.

Johnny's response was drowned out by a deafening splash — the previously mentioned 'Momo' had arrived, and it turned out to be the Sea King. To be more precise, a gigantic sea cow. A big round nose with a golden ring, a cow-like face, horns, and a seal-like body with green spots, like a cow's.

As soon as the Sea King appeared, the villagers of Cocoyashi started, if not a full-blown panic, then something close to it. Against such a bulk, their 'toothpicks' were indeed like toothpicks, no quotes needed. Meanwhile, Johnny's usual curiosity made itself known:

"So, is it Momo or Mumu?" the guy asked, examining the giant sea cow.

"I think it's Momo.

"To me, Mumu would be more fitting… by the way, I wonder if it tastes like beef or fish?"

"I thought we were past that. Fifty-fifty."

"Nyu! Momo, kill those two immediately!" The Octopus demanded, pointing at the guys standing nearby.

"MOOOOOO!!!" The Sea King responded obediently.

Opening its mouth, large enough to easily fit the Straw Hat Pirates' new ship, the 'Going Merry,' Momo tried to swallow both Johnny and Yosaku in one bite. Since the guys were standing next to each other, this desire made sense. The problem was that any of them posed a deadly threat to Momo even alone, and together… it was just unfair to the poor creature.

"Shoryuken!"

Johnny's fiery fist struck the Sea King's neck with monstrous force. Despite its size and the water constraining its body, Momo was completely lifted out of the water, where the unfortunate sea cow was already awaiting Yosaku. In a few jumps, Yosaku reached the top floor of Arlong Park and found himself sitting directly on the wall. Yosaku, squeezing his fist as hard as he could — causing his arm to swell one and a half times due to bulging muscles and veins — forcefully pushed off the wall, leaving clear footprints and cracks behind. He channeled all the concentrated power in his fist into the helpless Sea King, already half-dead from Johnny's single blow.

"Thunder Smashing Strike!"

The strike to Momo's enormous forehead was so powerful that, for a moment, the sea cow was almost folded in half — its neck touched its tail — and then, spinning like a wheel, Momo smashed through the gates blocking the entrance to Arlong Park from the water and went straight to the bottom of the East Blue. The impact of such a large body on the water's surface sent huge clouds of water into the sky and giant waves crashing onto the shore.

"Later, we can take it out, roast it, and see what it tastes like," Johnny concluded the whole event in the absolute silence, as his friend landed next to him.

"Right now, I'm much more concerned about the intellectual deficiency of our opponents," Yosaku replied, then turned to the trio of fishmen before them: "Guys, are you serious, or are you just messing around? If you're messing around, I can already say that your jokes are pretty cruel, using your trained animal like this. However, if you seriously thought that a damned cow, even a sea one, could kill us, you guys are clearly idiots."

" Ha-ha!" Johnny laughed. "You're right! I didn't realize it right away, but this is just the end! Boo-hoo! Tremble in fear, miserable humans, for we have a c-cow! Gyaa-ha-ha-ha!!!"

Seeing Johnny doubled over and literally gasping for breath from laughter, Yosaku couldn't help but start laughing too. At first, he let out a light chuckle, then he began to laugh softly, but soon Johnny, wheezing and wide-eyed, started pounding his chest while still laughing. This scene was the final straw — Yosaku simply couldn't hold it in, and Arlong Park was shaken by a new burst of laughter. It was clear that such a reaction from the guys and their words could not leave the opposing fishmen indifferent. While the smaller fry — from Johnny's and Yosaku's perspective — expressed their outrage only with shouts, the trio who had challenged them wasted no time with threats and immediately moved on to physical confrontation and sword fighting.
