After firing two quick shots of stones, Usopp knocked down two more barrels, specially installed on the opposite edge from him in such a way that, again, he would fall on the pirates swarming below, it was only necessary to knock out small stoppers from under them.
All the barrels obediently fell down, as a result of which all the pirates of the "Black Cat" were from head to toe in oil. Oil, which is highly flammable. Usopp, using a prudently grabbed lighter, lit the piece of rag that was wrapped around the stick. Standing up to his full height from behind the bushes, behind which he hid before, Usopp quickly walked to the edge, looked at the pirates floundering there, that because of all the oil around them, they could not stand on their feet, and-and-and ... nothing. The very human factor intervened. Sometimes he became a manifestation of real miracles, but not this time. A greenhouse boy named Usopp, despite all his sincere desire to protect the inhabitants of the village he so dearly loved, simply could not take, and so in cold blood burn so many people at once. Pirates or not. As stated, Usopp's plan was good. Not particularly expensive, easy to execute, and victorious. The problem, predictably, turned out to be in the performer himself. Usopp let himself down:

The guy clearly tried his best to speak menacingly and confidently, but where there is. In his voice, one could almost hear the pitying: "Get out of here, please!". And with instincts, the pirates were all right. Life on the brink either breaks, or kills, or hardens. So even if all the pirates who attacked Usopp were complete morons, their predatory instincts still worked as they should. Therefore, the pirates instantly felt the slack.
- Don't listen to this brat! - barked a rather strange-looking type, until this moment remained behind everyone. Heart-shaped glasses with red lenses, beard in "Tutankhamun approves" style. A blue hat with a hem, a blue cloak with gilded edges and some kind of gilded rings attached to each other on the right sleeve of the strange guy, and on one more side of the cloak, where the buttons were usually located. - He's clearly bluffing! The meaning of the complaints made in response can be conveyed approximately in the following sentence:
