บท 540: The Old President's Decree

  Rachel told everyone who he was. As soon as they learned that he was under the Supreme Merasi, they stopped showing any expression of anger and fear toward him.

"I came to bring you help," Ning said, as he flew down to the crowd. The crowd of disorderly people, some wounded, some bandaged, some lacking sleep, and some clearly wanting to leave showed him a confused look.

"Pardon, but what help did you bring, brother Terran," Rachel asked as he alone would likely not be a very good help.

"Ah, my apologies," Ning said. "I came in advance to scout out the location. I will go bring the help now.

A second later, a portal opened close to him and Ning walked inside. However, just before he was fully gone, his voice drifted over.

"More people will come through. Please don't attack them." And then the portal vanished.
