บท 2: The Lannister Lions
Gerold was busily pacing the doors with Kevan, even as Tygett stood leant against the wall and Gerion and Genna sat in amusement and contentment.
Gerion watched his nephew and brother pace back and forth, every time he opened his mouth to make a joke Genna would elbow his ribs hard.
At long last the doors opened and Maester Creylen exited.
''Lord Tywin wishes for Lord Gerold and Ser Kevan to meet his siblings first.'' Says Creylen.
Gerold shares a glance with his favorite Uncle, both their eyes brimming with victory over the Maesters words. Gerion was a Million Gold Dragons Richer and Gerold had the means to cash in on the Rebellion getting Lannister Gold, Equipment, and possible disavowed troops.
Gerold also had a plan to secure additional Dominance that would still fuck Cannon, but far more subtly. As to what that plan was? You'll just have to find out the hard way.

Kevan and Gerold entered to found Gerold's mother, holding two children to her bossom, before handing one to Tywin who handed the babe to Gerold.
''Gerold, meet your new brother and sister, Cersei and Jaime.'' Says Tywin, handing Gerold Cersei.
''You are part of the Lannister's Pride now little Lioness, we protect our own, and we will protect you so long as you Roar long and loud.'' Says Gerold as Cersei, as if in understanding let's out a small cry.
Deciding that perhaps it's time to make an early play, and place his plans at risk, Gerold turns to Tywin.
''Father, I'm calling in that Favor now, I want Uncle Gerion to receive Tarbeck Hall and I want Castamere.'' Says Gerold, before turning sly. ''If I can return the invested Gold back within two years You'll owe me two additional future favors. And like this one, it can be called in at any time, for whatever reason.'' Says Gerold.
''Agreed, it will be good practice for when you rule the Rock.'' Tywin agrees.
''Thank you Father, Now I'd best inform Uncle Gerion of his new lands and title.'' Says Gerold handing Cersei to Kevan.

(Genna Lannister POV)

Genna watched as Gerion who had been grinning like an idiot after Creylen said the words almost break his own face when Gerold informed him that not only was he a Million Gold Dragons richer, but he was now Lord of Tarbeck Hall once it was rebuilt. Her nephew then turned to her.
"Aunt Genna, I have been given Castamere until I can return to rule the Rock, I want you and Uncle Tygett with me. I want you to advise me, and Uncle Tygett to lead the men until I am able to do so myself." Gerold Said.
Genna watches as he departs, that self-assured look in his eyes, the sense he knows what he wants in life, how to get it, and how to keep it, just like Tywin....but not by much, there's something unnerving about the absoluteness of his eyes, like he simply sees the world as his playground and those who get in his way get to watch everything and everyone they care about burn to ashes.

(Time-Skip: One Year and Six Months Later)

(Tywin Lannister POV)

Tywin Lannister was rarely impressed, Gerold had done so much that he wasn't sure what he was supposed to expect at this point...but it certainly didn't involve his son returning his investment in Castamere in less than a year of the Castle being rebuilt, and then doing it twice over by the time Gerion had.
Gerold would someday be Rhaegar's hand when Cersei became his Queen, and with any luck once Tywin's grandson became King, the Lannister's would be the true power in the Seven Kingdoms, with Lannister's in charge. Gerold was now eight, and was the Lord of Castamere and future Warden of The West and Lord Paramount of The Westerlands, young enough to be of betrothal age, but also smart enough to decide for himself the best choice. The Lannister's Position was well enough that they could afford to let Gerold pick his bride, but Tywin had a sneaking suspicion that his son's ambition would surprise him in this regard....

Gerold sat in his solar, looking at his Father's letter, telling him it was time to look at his future prospects, and Gerold had already drawn up a list accordingly.
Elia Martell
Ashara Dayne
Allyria Dayne
Janna Tyrell
Lyanna Stark
Catelyn Tully
Of that entire list, Gerold quickly knocked off Elia Martell and Lyanna, leaving him with Catelyn Tully, Allyria and Ashara Dayne's, Janna Tyrell, and that list was quickly relieved of Catelyn Tully, leaving him three women. Janna Tyrell married some Fossoway fop in Cannon, but the marriage was childless, so getting into bed with her wouldn't immediately fuck Cannon.
But he really wanted to tap Ashara Dayne before the Tourney of Harrenhall, thing is though that Gerold also wants to tap Janna, but here's the interesting thing he's the Lord of Castamere and the future Lord of Casterly Rock, and at this junction the Mad hasn't lost even half of his already tiny marbles. So it'd be simple to have his father ask the King to give him a special dispensation for marrying two women, one to bear children to inherit the Rock, the other to bear children to inherit Castamere.
This was also part of a larger and grander plan for him, by marrying Janna he secured Reach Armies and Coin, he also put himself in a position to drive a wedge into the Reach by wedding, bedding, and impregnating Janna. His future children would be potential heirs would be in prime position to attaint the other Tyrell's for leadership when Renly took Loras Sword in his throat. Of course Willas wasn't a bad sort, but Gerold also had a future plan for Dorne and House Martell and the Tyrell's were an important aspect of this plan. Gerold would see an Independent Westerlands with him as the King, but in order to do that he had to have a rapport with Jon Arryn and Robert Baratheon, yet he was unable to do so right now because he was an acting Lord in the Westerlands. So his best option was to extend an offer of Fostering to a member of their families. Denys Arryn was of age to be fostered, as was Stannis Baratheon and Benjen Stark.
If he extended a fostering offer through his father he'd have a tie to the three and their families that would significantly help him in the future.

Tywin Lannister received Gerold's reply to whom he wished to betroth, and was pleasantly and surprisingly unsurprised that Gerold wanted two women, one to bear children to inherit The Rock, and the Other Castamere. It would be easy enough, and Aerys was amenable, he only needed the ability to sway the High Septon, and the whoremonger would prove amenable one way or another. The Young Lion's reasonings were quite revealing and it provided an opportunity that Tywin was slightly jealous for not seeing himself.
If Gerold begot heirs on Ashara they'd have a claim to Ser Arthur's Legendary Sword Dawn, bringing a legendary weapon on par with Valyrian Steel into House Lannister, as well as a Powerful Legend and Family Name. But by marrying Janna Tyrell they secured the Reach's Wealth and Military assistance, and united two powerful families that would make their bid for Rhaegar eventually marrying Cersei much much stronger.
Gerold was almost too smart and insightful for his own good.....and in saying that, it was almost too close to be seen like that....

Theragfromthecrag Two women don't count as a harem, it counts as Polygamy, something not unusual in Westeros, so bear with it, besides, one will live and one will die when Gerold's plans begin to bear fruit.....in the distant future.

Next chapter is like a five year Time-Skip but future chapters will involve flashbacks to the reactions of Dayne's and Tyrell's
