บท 145: Jane Doe

Harry had hoped things would go well with Penny and Roman last night but he didn't think they would go THIS well. She hadn't shown up for work yet and he was willing to bet she was sleeping in at his friend's house. 

Not calling in first went against company policy but he might be willing to let it slide this once. It was about time his best friend had something work out for him romantically. Especially since he seemed to actually care about this one as opposed to his indifference with all of his previous girlfriends. 

He did still need her at work today though so when he couldn't get through to Penny's phone, he had to call Roman next. "Hey, is Penny with you?"

"…why would she be with me at this time of morning?"

His heart began to sink. Was she really not with him? "Answer the question, Roman."
