After both Tatsuya and Akira signed up for the basketball club and went to the old gym because the new one was being used by the volleyball club as they have priority for being district champions for Six straight years.
"Akira, we should finish tonight so we can use this tomorrow for lunch. I have a hunch that we will rarely if ever get to use the main gym. Not to mention we should get this place in top notch so the club can use it. After a few days we should have this place up and running no problem. Although cleaning might be a pain It should be worth it in the long run."
Thinking for a moment Akira sighed. "I suppose we should be prepared rather then wait it out and hope for the best like always.
P.O.V. Swap
*the sound of feet and cleaning occurring below*
Waking up from his nap Kaito peers over the edge to see the two cleaning again. He watched for a while until Sei appeared. *bonk*
"Kai-chan why are you watching them clean again?" Getting smugged a wicked smile appeared on Sei face. "You know they decided to join the basketball club and found out that the main gym will never get to be used by them. So they figured why wait and make there own place to train."
Very quietly he whispers to himself. "basketball huh..."
P.O.V. Swap
Walking into his house Tatsuya is stopped by his father. "I know that you have a crazy love for basketball and that you have the talent to back it up, just don't destroy your school life again. Your lucky Akira stayed around as your friend with the stuff you did."
*smack*
"Hunny don't talk to Tatsuya like that, instead of being a jerk. Be supportive."
"Yes father."
Laying down in his bed Tatsuya began thinking back. His strong desire to be good at basketball basically cost him his elementary years. Because he was practicing non-stop he was completely destroying everyone when they played. At first everyone wanted to befriend him because of his skill and asked him to help them get better. After that everything blew up because his training methods weren't really for kids his age. Parents began shunning him because their kids would come home bleeding or with bruises. Other than Akira everyone else left.
"Ehh Whatever."
Tomorrow, came along and both Tatsuya and Akira went immediately to clear the gym up so Tatsuya could face Ryo. Skipping classes till lunch the two finally finished and waited for Ryo and the rest of the basketball team to arrive.
"Tatsuya are you ready to lose? Don't expect me to go easy on you!" Ryo walked in with the rest of the basketball team flaunting his status because he was sure he was going to win.
*Yawning and Stretching* "Right, just get on the court. You can start."
The duel between the two started when Ryo immediately began pushing towards the basket. Tatsuya left the left side of the hoop open allowing for Roy to push and score with an easy layup. "Come on with all that talk earlier I figured you'd at least put up a fight." Tatsuya only smiled and waited for Ryo to move back to the top of the paint to begin the next play.
"Akira, he couldn't stop a simple push like that. What do you think Tatsuya's chances are at winning?" Without any sort of hesitation Akira replied.
"One-Hundred percent. Just watch."
Ryo again went for another push going for another lay-up as he was preparing to raise the ball up to the basket he noticed the ball was already gone. Stopping, he turned and watched Tatsuya drain the basket. Shocking everyone on the court.
"I was going to let you score a bit, but you had to open your trap." Getting into position, Tatsuya dribbled the ball right in front of Ryo. Ryo reaches for the ball only for Tatsuya to do a quick crossover, turning into a quick spin launching himself into the other direction. In the middle of his spin the ball floats over his opposite shoulder and lands directly in the middle of the hoop.
"What the hell was that!" This time the players were mind blown. He scored without even looking at the basket in the middle of a spin.
*laughing* "I like to call it the Hurricane, but Tatsuya doesn't like the name."
"He's pretty good at using the motions of his spin to directly reflect the way the ball flies in the air." A female voice randomly appeared from the group. Making Akira turn towards the source.
"Well, you're mostly correct. Not only is he using the force of the spin but changing the height of his shoulder. For example the bigger the player the taller he has to be giving the ball more of an arc this causes the ball to move slower in the air. However, it's far more deadly against people shorter than himself. If he doesn't need to arc the ball, it would cruise into the basket allowing for no counter play. By the way, who are you?" Clearly directing it towards the female.
"You can call me Sei. My dad used to play professionally so I have a vested interest in basketball."
