บท 316: Saving Freya with a kiss!

Freya could tell that Elliot was keeping her alive, but doing that, he was wasting much of his precious resources. She thought that he was wasting it on her.

She knew she would die soon anyway, as there was no cure to the spider queen's poison, so why should she continue letting him waste a precious healing resource on her?

She didn't want that.

"This is the end for me, I fear," Freya said in a shaky voice as blood trickled out the corners of her mouth.

Elliot rolled his eyes at the suicidal beauty.

"I won't let you die." Elliot was directly responsible for her current state, and he didn't want her to die because of a mistake he made and his negligence, so he was going to save her, and he was coming up with a way to do just that, but he needed some time.

Time was what he lacked the most right now.

However, he was extending the time limit by wasting his energy of life.
