Looking at Eric's conceited smirk Geron sighed and thought, 'tsk tsk highborn's, so be it.
The bandit leader having already released his aura, took half a step with his right foot and suddenly covered the three meters distance between them in an instant, he is almost three steps away from Eric now. During his dash forward, Geron's hands are already hacking downward on a tilted slash, which will meet at Eric's body making a "V" cut. What's more, is that Geron's weapons are wrapped by aura, knight master?
Eric displayed a slightly surprised look thinking, 'Fuck! Here I am again, underestimating an opponent. But this is interesting'.
What caught Eric interest is how Geron used his aura to help him propel his body to cover the distance, the way is out of the ordinary not on the genius level, but is the first person in this world that Eric knows, who uses aura unconventionally. What Geron did was focused dense aura under his foot using the idea similar to a spring, that multiplies the force of the jump significantly. Geron didn't change the aura properties as a transmutter would, all he did is made the aura under his foot felt like a sturdy balloon. Unlike how most aura users would harden the aura around their fists to act like hard brass knuckles, the theory is still the same only used differently.
Furthermore, his movement felt so natural, he probably practiced that move really hard to act as a surprise attack and had killed countless unsuspecting enemies that didn't put up their guard on time.
In Geron's eyes, the green-eyed boy now suddenly looked to be falling down on his back when suddenly the teenager was pulled backward disappearing in front of him evading his attack. Geron followed every movement with his widened eyes, the boy's smirks haven't faded away yet.
In the bandit's mind, 'what the he-- was that? He was pulled by something or someone? He can't possibly jump backward, seeing that his knees didn't bent'. He develops this weird sensation and reacted by using enhanced eyes but it still not clearly visible, but he was sure that there's something and he was about to pour some more aura into his vision. At the same time he also adapted, after striking nothing and only hitting his weapons on each other, Geron is already on his toes to do a follow-up, about to chase the kid.
While being pulled by his web-string, Eric saw that when both Geron's weapons collided with each other, the aura imbued on it dispersed like sparks, 'pseudo knight master!', meaning the bandit is not yet on a knight master's level, but almost there.
Moreover, Eric noticed that Geron was able to adapt properly, was about to give chase, and also about to look at him with properly enhanced eyes. However, the viscount wouldn't just let him have a proper look, he plans to interrupt him, or rather end this now.
Eric stops himself from being pulled away five meters from Geron's and is preparing to do a jump dash forward using his own version of that "balloon dashing aura".
The two combatants are about to clash properly when, Geron felt a very sharp aura, then suddenly he noticed Eric's daggers were coated with the same sharp aura, he exclaimed thinking, 'Knight master!'
Geron displayed a panicked, grave, and fearful expression on his face, he's almost stopped thinking and is now letting his instinct free by drawing back his arms to try to cover his vitals instead.
'Oh. No you won't, ku ku ku', Eric said in his mind.
Abruptly, Geron's arms are pulled sideways with a really overwhelming force, he is now running towards Eric with his arms wide open.
Geron yelled, "No! Plea----".
In a flash, both men are now five meters apart, their backside is facing each other. However, a severed head with maroon-colored hair is in mid-air between them, and looking closely at Geron's, he is now headless with a deep cut from his right hips towards his heart. He's dead!
The bandit boss's body fell down, while his severed head was pulled mid-air into Eric's open palm.
From Geron's initial dash until his body fell lifeless, everything happened in less than ten seconds.
Most of the bandit's reactions are delayed, they are still in a cheering mode before finally everything is over and their boss lost. The knights are able to react a bit faster, proven by how four knights are now advancing really fast towards Eric, who is now displaying a taunting face with their boss's head in his hand.
While the black-haired slender bandit is yelling trying to deter anymore bandit to follow, "No don't! He's a knight master!".
Eric looked and thought, 'hmmm, how perceptive'. Even if he saw the viscount, with his enhanced eyes from more than fifty meters away, most of the time, the bandit boss's body should've had covered Eric from their vision.

Eric is staring at the four knights coming his way.
Looking at the young man, he looked turned on or something. The young viscount is experiencing some physical and emotional changes at the moment, he looked like he's having a slight seizure. His head is tilted upwards, with his green eyes almost not visible, and is lightly convulsing.
Eric moves his head in one circular motion then stop now staring at the arriving knight's, "Ahhhhhhhh! This is more like it, come to daddy", the viscount said then licked his lips.
Even though Eric is a knight master, it still is not easy to just faced off against four knights simultaneously, and oddly, even though somewhat inferior, these newcomers are using the same aura leaping skill, so he leaped backward while pointing his two open palms to the two arriving assailants.
The two knights at the front were pulled forward by an overwhelming force, that shocked and somehow disoriented them, even though they are still proficient fighters experiencing something that they know nothing about would still confuse them. Enough time for Eric, using his new improve leaping skill and enhanced aura-infused blade, to deliver a fatal strike to these bandits. At the same time, his web-string aura that pulled the bandits is wrapped around the bandit's wrists, making them unable to strike back or even defend in a few split seconds.
Eric dispatches the two knights quickly, with a deep stab to the hearts, one of them even tried to unleashed all his aura at once to trying shield himself, but remained futile to the young lord's blades. Since probably what the bandit did was the same as what he usually had done in the past just mindlessly releasing aura, his intent is there being 'more aura, cover me!', it should have been more specific like, 'aura as thick and as solid as five inches iron armor'.
The two bandits are now corpses lying next to Eric, a third bandit is still on the offensive on his way to the green-eyed teenager, preparing to do a wide swing from below with his long sword. The fourth assailant, however, seemed to have realized something like 'a knight master or some kind of weird ability', threw his long sword toward Eric then leaped back to the side using his buddy's body as cover.
Seeing this Eric thought, 'good fighters really know how to think and make the best decision in a fraction of a second'.
Using the dagger in his right hand, Eric deflected the thrown weapon, and with his left dagger parried the incoming swing from below, he then used his strengthen leaping ability and jumps forcefully kneeing the attacker in the face.
With the leaping skill and aura accumulated in Eric's left knee, the blow became a lot powerful knocking out the bandit, which was supposed to be thrown a couple of meters away, but the young lord held the bandit still.
The viscount is now looking at a distance, to a group of knights and amateur knights moving towards him, seemingly in some kind of a tight formation, headed by the slender man. 'They are still organized enough? I guess this is it for now', Eric thought before turning away dragging the unconscious bandit, and handing the leader's head to Drake.
"Let's go back for now".
