"I am slightly disappointed."
While they were inside their lab, various metals and parts were littered across the table. This was what was left from Lala's latest attempt at upgrading her vacuum. She was attempting to add a recycling function to it, but from the result. The vacuum ended up recycling itself.
"Hey at least the function worked." Jason pointed out smiling. "Just not correctly."
"Haha," Lala laughed sarcastically. "I don't currently have any motivation to fix it. This is the third time I tested it and got the same result."
"If a filter or a sensor doesn't help, maybe it's the materials?" he suggested.
"I thought of that, but even when I use stronger materials it still happens."
Stroking her smooth pink hair as he appeared behind her. Jason didn't recently didn't spend as much time with her as he should. Between his recents steps of being a hero in training as he likes to call it, she has been holding herself up in her lab.
"I would say the issue lies in how powerful the laser is, but that can be tested later. Currently, you could use a bath." Jason answered as he playful picked her up.
"I took one a few hours ago." Lala smacked his arms lightly.
Sniffing her lightly, Jason playfully shook his head. "My nose disagrees."
"Please, your nose is more powerful than a dogs." Lala said but began undressing anyways.
In the end she agreed to take a bath with him and even got her revenge by teasing him. Only her victory was short lived, he managed to reverse it making her the one slightly embarrassed.

"So how did last night go?" Lala asked as she leaned up against Jason inside the bath. A bath they recently modified to also act as a hot tub at a push of a button..
After a small episode of teasing and washing. They were just relaxing and in which Jason wrapped his arms around her. Even if he had a reaction, besides a small blush, Lala didn't mention it nor tease him about it.
"It was surprisingly busy. I met quite a few muggers, a couple wannabe robbers, and ended up saving that girl who gave us the campus tour. Felicia Hardy if I remember correctly." Jason replied. "I hope she's ok."
"Well you did save her, but you sound quite taken by her." Lala replied as she leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Yes, I am interested in her, but I have you don't I?"
"Nice answer," Lala gave him a small kiss. "I'm not against a harem if you decided to ask her out. Just don't try to hide other women."
"Isn't it unfair though?" Jason asked.
"It is how I was raised. Since I was young, I was told by my teachers I should expect to share my husband with others." Lala replied. "Unlike on Earth, it isn't as rare to see a man with a few women by his side."
"Well that is all good, but not everyone shares that idea. Who said I want more or she would even accept. We don't know her all that well and only met her once." Jason countered her idea. "Besides, we might not even be a good fit for each other."
"Your body is more honest than your words are, but yes I understand. So if you want to get her on a date, you have a lot of work to do." Lala smiled as she kissed him again. "Then you will know if you're fit or not."
"Ha," Jason let out a long sigh.
'Why does it sound troublesome?' he thought to himself.
--
"Your parents are coming over?" James repeated as he looked around the apartment.
Next to him, Liz looked slightly annoyed as she said this. The apartment wasn't messy per say, but it more so because of Jason and Lala. The two of them have a habit of leaving out inventions or things that aren't supposed to exist. Such as x-ray goggles or superman movies around the living room.
"Yeah, they will be here soon, like in ten minutes they said. So use your super speed to clean up while I prepare space for them to sleep." Liz commanded. "While you're at it, send a message to the two."
"Ok, but I don't think they will stay over. The last time I saw them, they didn't like me very much." James answered.
He could still visualize the stares he received from them when Liz introduced him. It reminded him of Lex Luthor, who hated him with every fiber of his being. Though, he should get the last laugh, as the planet the man ruled became new krypton about a century after the man finally died.
"That's because we just started dating and you know how well my ex was. They were just worried about me." Liz calmed him. "Not to mention you're built like a mountain of muscle."
"I think it has more to do with my white hair." James said as he sped around the apartment cleaning.
"You're overthinking it. I'm sure it will go a whole lot smoother this time around." Liz replied not really concerned. "Oh, my mother said, Father is really into golf at the moment. So read up on it or something, it will make him happy."
'Ha, why does it sound troublesome?' James thought as he wasn't that excited to meet them again. Still taking the advice, he began looking up current players and possible courses to visit.

In a large ship orbiting the Earth, a youngish looking man with grey hair looked at a small boy and a woman. He was slightly trembling as he kneeled before them in respect and honor. For they were the King and Queen of Deviluke.
The boy had spiky black hair and red eyes with shark-like teeth. Behind him a thin black tail with a trident end slowly waves behind him. Next to him covered in a thin veil, a beautiful slender yet voluptuous woman with long smooth pink hair stood next to him.
The two were naturally Lala's parents Gid and Sephie Deviluke.
