บท 171: Ancient Families

I quickly caught up to Lily and looked at her. She had a lost look in her eyes as she gazed at the sky.

"What are you thinking?" I asked her while my eyes stared at the empty sky. It is almost night, I could see the stars in the sky.

"Nothing, just biding my time to get my powers back and I could go back,"

My brows furrowed when I heard her words. Why is she behaving like a fool? I know that she is missing her formal life, but isn't this too much? I shook my head.

"I know you will get it back, but you should not think too much. Remember that you are going to assist me in the future."

She had a surprised expression on her face before she smiled and said, "I know. That is the reason I said that you are my lucky star. To be honest, I didn't expect that one day I would get my Powers back. But after I met you, my life changed for the good."

My eyes were fixed on her smiling face, but I could feel that there was a trace of loneliness in her eyes.
