"How would you explain this?!" Mr. Smith, my grandfather, according to them, slammed the newspaper on his dark-tinted glass office table.
Shyn low-key gritted his teeth and looked down, avoiding Mr. Smith's enraged, disturbing face.
"We apologize, Mr. Smith," Ryan bowed his head looking straight at the floor too.
I sighed, stood up from the couch that I was seated on!
There's so much tension in this room!
"I am alive, right? There is no problem here." Why does it feel like somebody died?
Automatically, Shyn's gaze struck me like a mad dart aiming for a bullseye. What did I do? Am I not helping him here?
"I will deal with it immediately." Shyn gulped, returning his sight on the freaking floor!
The other day, they were like close... but now, what is different? Just because of some guns and a little pathetic plan to abduct me...?
Mr. Smith's eyes calmly looked at me, and then suddenly they turned into this worrying, I do not understand, eyes.
