บท 315: Explain it all

Jeremiah was about to retort when his eyelids suddenly grew heavy. His gaze started losing focus.

Before he could try to comprehend it, his gaze turned blank as he looked at Esme, ''My Lady,'' his voice was monotonous. 

Anyone under the influence of mind control would presume the person controlling their mind to be their Master and Mistress whom they were supposed to obey. 

Esme looked at him calmly, suppressing her inner urge to kick him a few times. 

After all, she could barely control Rezeph's mind for a few seconds and according to what he had told her, she had already mastered her ability to a good extent. 

But Esme had no idea how powerful Jeremiah was so she had to use this opportunity to extort everything cleanly, rather than waiting for him to blabber gibberish once again. She could not afford for him to regain consciousness before she found answers to her question.
