On top of the map, Jayden placed a small wooden bowl with the strands of Kayla’s reddish hair mixed with olive oil and sage. With the circle complete, the three witches each took a spot on the floor sitting cross-legged between two of the candles and called forth their magic, each lighting the candle to their right. Laci took a deep breath as she placed her palms on her thighs and watched her sister perform the spell.
