"Dono...wait…" her lips quivered as she tried to stop his advancement.

"What the matter?" Donovan asked as he let go of her lips.

Silja stared at her husband for a moment and then looked down.

"You know you can tell me anything. Is it that time of month?" Donovan asked.

Silja shook her head in reply.

"It's just that Esme asked… she said it would be better if we could avoid such intimate contacts for now. It uses lots of energy and also can be a reason for distraction," Silja said, and Donovan looked at her suspiciously.

"Are you sure you don't want it?" He asked teasingly as his long fingers ran through her open back, sending tingles down her spine.

Silja closed her eyes as she tried to resist the heavenly touch.

"Yes…we have to," she breathed out those words with difficulty.
