บท 448: The Investigation

"No? Then no," she asked and answered her question.

"Huh. Keep trying," the man kept a few minutes of silence. 

"Keep speaking, and I'll leave you here alone, Orion," She shook her head and warned the man, blabbering something under his breath. They both kept walking over for hours before they reached the primary market. 

"To Yrota," Meadow looked at the skinny man beside a carriage. His eyes darted around to find a ride. Her voice made the man turn around his neck in confusion. But as soon as his neck turned around, his jaw dropped. 

The girl standing in front of him captivated him with just one glance. The girl looked like she was carved, not born. The long blond hair reaching till her waist spread on her back in soft curls like a waterfall. She has high cheekbones and a sharp jaw. 

But that wasn't the only attractive feature of her face; her eyes were the most attractive part of her body—big, bright, lush green eyes. A colour never seen before.
