บท 225: Threat

A knock was heard from the other side of the door.

Who could that be? Ceri wondered. She was in no mood for unwanted visitors.

"Come in," Ceri Binner yelled out as she quickly got off the ground and arranged her clothes. She couldn't allow anyone to see her weeping and defeated. In her mind, Ceri cradled the flame of hope that things would get better between her and Sek.

There was no way that this was the end of it — there was no way that this was the end of her dreams. She would not allow it. She refused to go down without a fight.

Queen Zyne walked in.

Now, she held a walking stick that glittered beside her. It was made of gold and had little precious stones embedded in it.

The stylish piece caught Ceri's eyes and she was disgusted.

"Your vanity knows no bounds, does it?" She muttered.
