บท 47: CALL ME THAT AGAIN AND YOU'LL SEE...

"Leticia…?"

That low-baritone way of speaking is so familiar to Leticia that she instinctively knew who it was.

"Duke… W-what are you doing here?"

Shit! She stuttered!

"What are YOU doing here with HIM?"

Frowning, Leticia thought why Hugh asked that question. She glanced up at Lucas and saw that the smile he had was gone.

Staring at each other, the pressure was getting heavier by the second. And since Lucas and Hugh almost have the same height, it felt like she was being sandwiched by two giants.

Anyway! Leticia thought she should say something before she saw sparks and lightning coming from their eyes like in the movies.

"I came from the salon and was lost when I wanted to return back. Sir Lucas here saw me and was concerned-"

"What did you just say? Lucas?"

Leticia stopped talking and unconsciously swallowed her saliva. Blinking her eyes because she thought she needed to confirm the tone that Hugh just used.
