บท 188: Courting the city lord

"You will give me anything?", Zhan Chen looked towards the three elders of the Alchemy association.

"Of course. We will promise you anything as long as your demand is not too outrageous", the most talkative elder among the three replied. Other two also nodded their heads as all of them agreed on this before coming to see Zhan Chen.

"Well, that can be discussed. Let me first write the things I required in a scroll", Zhan Chen spoke.

He requested the beautiful attendant to fetch him a scroll and the attendant agreed immediately to his request. She left her seat and went towards a back room to fetch the scroll for Zhan Chen.

Zhan Chen imbued his essence energy into the scroll and the name of the herbs started to appear on the scroll surface. 

"See, if you have these herbs with you. All of the herbs are average grade four herbs", Zhan Chen spoke after giving the scroll to elder Jin.
