After the first song, other songs played and more couples joined the dance. A few left the dance floor. Some exchanged dance partners.

Everything was going perfectly fine. But Kieran and the others had not forgotten about the threat posed by the dark witches. 

He had long stepped off the dance floor with Clarissa and had been going from guest to guest receiving congratulations on finding his mate and their engagement. 

They heard wonderful compliments regarding the arrangements made for the party and how much fun they were having. 

Clarissa practically glowed with pride and it surprised many when Kieran gave her the credit for the wonderful setting and party. 

But she did deserve it for a job well done. 

After hours of mingling and sipping a cup of wine, Clarissa discreetly let Kieran know she had to use the powder room.
