Raven asked Dimitri for Clarissa's whereabouts when he failed to find her with Martha or any of the maids assisting with the party plans. 

Even kieran was of no help. 

Dimitri informed him that clarissa was using the library in the west wing

The Vatican library. 

It was a library used only by the queens.

Clarissa could still choose to have her own personal library later on. That was what most of the past queens chose to do. 

Raven chose to knock instead of teleporting, hoping she would be more acceptable to the idea of helping him once more if he did not scare her this time. 

But he got no reply.

After knocking a few more times, he started to wonder if she was truly in there.

A simple spell unlocked the door and he walked in.

Clarissa had her head buried in a mountain of books or what looked like a mountain of books when Raven found her.
