"You are the within the woods." He said, finally making the connection. "You helped my bride." He spoke matter of fact.
His tone alarmed the witch, "Aye, I-I did." She acknowledged.
"What did you tell her about our child, and about myself?" He asked. The Witch didn't answer fast enough and within seconds B had his long, slender hand around the Witch's throat.
Her eyes bulged in fear. He could smell it on her. The smell of her fear coupled with her blood was intoxicating. He wanted to drink her dry. The hunger.
The hunger was what he was afraid of, and here it was.
The witch gently placed both hands around B's wrist, "Your Lowliness, please. Calm yourself. I am your ally. I am an ally of Lilith and the dark lord."
Her words seemed to lull him back to sanity. He loosened his grip enough for the Witch to escape. She rubbed her neck from the pain.
"Tell me!" He roared.
