บท 256: Taking back the throne

The grand room was dimly lit with candles around the throne, unlike the lobby which led here that was lit with light bulbs. "Hello you shameless man, missed me much?" Hailey teased and twisted the nerve of the man sitting on the throne. There were men working around for the lady who sat in the man's lap. Lord Cermesi, to be exact.  I didn't know whether it was okay to call him Mister. He looked buffer and taller than most above-average men I had seen since I had left the castle. 

His face formed in a design of confusion and I can tell why. It must be tough to understand who was standing in the dim space. Hailey threw Zelda's unconscious self as she slid to the foot of the throne. 

The woman who was sitting on Lord Cermesi's lap got down with a gasp, "my Zel!" 

Lord Cermesi got up from the throne and fumed walking forward, "Come forward, you swindler. Don't you dare think that you could take the clan throne by defeating the heir. Outsiders aren't allowed-"
