"Damon," Nessa gasped, eyes wide at the figure hovering over her. What the hell?
"How did you get in here?" she breathed, squirming beneath the intensity of his gaze. She was sure her balcony door was locked nor did he walk through the entrance else her mother would have announced his arrival.
"Damon," She swallowed, his dark gaze probing her. It unnerved her. Why was Damon not speaking and why was he staring at her that way? As if she truly mattered to him...
Suddenly, he moved closer and her breath hitched.
"Damon..." Her heart was pounding like the thundering hooves of a thousand wild stallions and it didn't help things that Damon was being creepy right now. But as creepy as he was, her body still reacted to him on a molecular level. She was crazily drawn to Damon even though he was just staring at her - the creepy stare.
