Outside the streets of Puls.

A fierce-looking man stood on a tall building and looked down.

Behind him were a few mages.

This was the tallest building in the city of Coase, so it was almost completely visible.

"How is it?"

The fierce-looking man spoke.

"We've lost contact with all of them," the person behind replied.

The place suddenly fell silent. The people behind looked at each other, clearly in disbelief.

The fierce-looking man frowned and said, "where's Pine?"

"We haven't been able to contact him either."

A reply came from behind.

"How could it be!"

"Even when the captain made contact?!"

"Just how strong is this strange creature?!"

"If I remember correctly, the captain should be a B rank mage. It's impossible that even he..."

Instantly, the people behind him were in a commotion.
