บท 181: ~ 181: Time Out - Part 1 ~

It is only when I landed there that I realised where I had brought us to. It certainly wasn't my intention but my deepest desire to learn the truth must have gotten over me.

I looked at Lucas to see if he was just as surprised as me or not. But the male vampire had just collapsed on the floor and laid on his back. In the silence of the mountain forest around us, he breathed heavily before choking on the poisoned blood that came out of his system.

"That felt good," said Lucas, who now sat with his back against the bark of a tree as support, after coughing out some more blood and wiping it away from the edge of his mouth with his handkerchief. He then looked at the colour of it against the light of the fire he held in. The blackness in it had appeared to have turned only darker than what I had seen in the battleground.
