บท 20: Stela on the prowl
Estela looked like the wife of a drug dealer as she dressed very elegantly in the company of a boy of about 30 years old, her sister dressed normally but seeing how Estela treated her made me uncomfortable.
It is true that I had my debates with Ricardo, but I never insulted him or lowered his self-esteem and neither did he do it with me, I considered that siblings should be like that since they were friends and looked after each other's welfare, but seeing that scene in how he humiliated her made me want to expose myself and give him a good beating.
I explained to the girls in a place that only those of the sisterhood could enter, it was an exclusive passage, I wanted to be somewhat dramatic and I gave them to understand that if someone outside knew of this hidden door we were all in danger, in part it was not an exaggeration, because if it happened again they would be in real danger or even my own family.
After finally entering and following a long corridor we fell near the cabins, it seemed a short stretch but in fact it was long, in the cabin we relaxed and my aunts made them swear that they would not say a word, I trusted them because we had already spoken and been honest.
Carlos called me a few minutes later while the girls were resting from the pressure, I explained everything and updated him on the situation, Carlos told me he would talk to his brother so he could bring us food, that cabin would be our refuge for today, since Estela did not seem to have any intention of leaving.
My suspicion that Luisa was a lap dog was more serious than I imagined, Luisa was becoming the sister that Estela wanted so much, my skin bristled as I imagined many things that even though I wanted to say them I preferred to keep quiet.
While I was doing the time I remembered Lirio's gestures, it was when I got more curious about how Estela could be so cruel with Lirio, I called Ricardo and hidden from the girls I told him what happened plus my doubt, he agreed to find out the information and he understood my concern although what he told me left me astonished.
Ricardo's voice from the cell phone: Sis, not all siblings get along well, I have friends who have siblings and some of them envy our sibling relationship.
Casandra: Hey, what do you mean by that?
Ricardo's voice from the cell phone: well... not all of them have had a good relationship with their siblings, they have had fights that have stopped talking to each other for years or months, relax, I will look for the information you need.
After hanging up the call I received a message from Lucas who told me to please save his number and put it as important because apparently Carlos was being watched and if he came to where we were he would only get us into trouble.
