บท 29: Chapter 26

Yu Yingyi and Song Liya left the restaurant holding hands, tonight was a crazy night for Yu Yingyi. Throughout the entire ride back, Yu Yingyi's heart was still racing, unable to calm down. To make things worse, Song Liya fell asleep on her shoulder, so she stayed still all the way back to their palace.

When they were back, Yu Yingyi's shoulder felt sore from Song Liya's head leaning onto her shoulder, she even had to lower her back a bit to ease it.

"Wake up, Liya, We're here." Yu Yingyi said slightly shaking Song Liya awake.

Song Liya yawned before waking up. "That was a pleasant sleep, I feel more refreshed than normal. Hmm? Yu Yingyi, why do you look a bit tired and your posture seems to slump a bit?"

'That was probably because of you.' was what Yu Yingyi wanted to say but she couldn't.

"I might've fallen asleep on the wrong side of the carriage if that makes sense. Anyways, let's go in," said Yu Yingyi.

With that said, Yu Yingyi was the one to lead Song Liya inside the palace, but their roles changed once they made it in since Yu Yingyi still hasn't memorized the outline of the palace yet.

"This palace is too big, can you shrink it a bit?"

"What kind of ridiculous imaginations are in your mind?"

When they made it back into their room, Yu Yingyi immediately laid on the bed, she felt the urge to fall asleep since the ride back was tiring and she wanted to fix her back.

"Don't fall asleep yet! We still have to shower!" said Song Liya.

"Can't help it, I'm feeling sleepy after all the delicious food I ate tonight. And what do you mean WE still have to shower? You mean YOU have to shower?" asked Yu Yingyi.

"Nope, I said it correctly, we still have to shower. Didn't you know that it's a tradition for people who just got into a relationship to shower together?"

"Song Liya, I may barely have any knowledge about things related to romance, but I'm not stupid enough to fall for one of your perverted schemes. Go shower by yourself."

"So mean, you won't shower with me even though I've seen all of you alright, it was such a pleasing sight."

"Stop with the indecent thoughts! You're still a princess!"

"And I'm also your boyfriend, I have the right to compliment your body and boost your confidence."

"It doesn't work like that, just go take a shower already, I'm too tired to talk about this."

"Then I shall go shower now, m'lady." was the last thing Song Liya said before the sound of water running was heard.

Honestly, being called m'lady was different, even if it came from Song Liya...Song Liya in the shower...water dripping down her body...her twin melons-

Yu Yingyi was already fuming at what she was thinking of, she was being influenced by Song Liya way too much. She shook her head to get rid of the indecent thoughts that were about to invade her mind.

"What an eventful day...' thought Yu Yingyi exhaling a tired sigh at the end.

Soon enough, her eyes started to close and the last thing she felt was arms being wrapped around her waist.

Yu Yingyi woke up due to the sensation of something shaking her awake, she already knew who it was.

"What is it Liya?" Yu Yingyi asked tiredly.

"Can you make chocolate again?"

"If there are ingredients left, I can make it."

"I see, but I've had enough of regular chocolate."

Yu Yingyi's eyes shot awake in surprise, there was no way she heard Song Liya right, she was tired of chocolate? Immediately, Yu Yingyi grew worried, was her chocolate that bad?

"Calm your mind darling, it isn't what you're thinking, you're chocolates are delicious. But I've been wondering, are there different types of chocolate or chocolate that can be used differently?"

Yu Yingyi calmed down and thought about it for a moment. If she wanted to make different types of chocolate, she would have to go outside again and she was feeling too tired to go out.

Then an idea came into her mind, why not make Hot Chocolate? It would ease her fatigue away and it was perfect for a morning drink to make them awake. Moreover, it was extremely easy to make.

"I have something in mind, it'll take around two minutes to make," said Yu Yingyi.

"That quickly? What type of chocolate are you making that takes that short amount of time?" asked Song Liya.

"It's a drink that uses chocolate, it's called Hot Chocolate because it's a hot drink that contains chocolate, now wait here while I make it." Yu Yingyi replied.

Song Liya waited on the bed obediently, looking at a few books about architecture that were on Yu Yingyi's desk but quickly put it back since everything seemed boring, she already had knowledge about it anyways.

When Yu Yingyi came back with two cups of steam coming out of them, Song Liya grew curious and wanted to know what it was. Yu Yingyi was surprised at the sight, she could've sworn she saw puppy ears and a tail on Song Liya.

Yu Yingyi carefully placed the hot chocolate on the table so she wouldn't spill it. This was going to be her first time in seven years drinking hot chocolate again.

"Be careful, it's hot, I don't want you to burn your tongue." Yu Yingyi warned.

Of course, Song Liya didn't listen, she was the fierce princess after all and she wasn't scared of anything. She immediately took a big sip of the chocolate and tasted sweetness, a tint of bitterness, and a burning tongue. Song Liya quickly set the cup down and coughed.

"Aiyah! What did I just tell you? I told you it was going to be hot." Yu Yingyi scolded.

While Yu Yingyi was trying to cool down Song Liya's burning tongue, there was an unexpected knock on the door.

Both of them had no idea who it was since Song Liya's family was still at the banquet.
