After 'cleaning' the corner of her lips Bones backed away and thought, 'So what happened to your hypnotism?'

He ate the chicken with these thoughts in his mind. The man stood up cleaned the kitchen and walked inside his room. Victoria was sitting on the couch like a wax model. She stood up slowly walked inside her room. bit her finger and made a magic circle on the four walls.

The magic circle glowed and Victoria screamed, "YESSSSSSSS" what she drew on the wall was a soundproofing magic circle. Vampires can do magic, or blood magic as you saw. They need their magical blood to cast a spell, none of the spells lasts forever, just like their dying blood.

Victoria screamed so loud that it might have been heard by the whole building let alone Bones. She did not want to lose her decorum as a princess and look like a fangirl. Well, all good. She picked up her phone and called her friend Jane.

The call was answered very quickly, and a loud voice answered, "VICIII... HOW ARE YOU, MY LOVE?"

The speaker was Marina. Victoria said, "Marina, he kissed the corner of my mouth to clean the sauce left there..."

Marina was a better gossiper than Jane. The two girls started to do girlie talks almost the whole night. None of them held back. Jane also joined in after a few minutes. The two were surprised when they heard that Victoria kissed the guy but the surprise became shocked when they found out that their friend was now living in the man's flat.

The two people were speechless when they were told about Bones' manly figure and his macho cooking postures. Suddenly Marina said, "Vici if we both turned Bi, will you share your candy with us?"

The question was sudden and Victoria was surprised, then she said, "Depends..."

Jane asked curiously, "Depends on what exactly?"

"If I die early or not." then she let out a peal of laughter. They would usually tease each other like this. Then Jane told her about a wonderful place the two will be going to later and promised to video call. Victoria noticed that the sun has risen upon the horizon. She disconnected the call and walked outside the room.

Suddenly she heard metal clanking sounds. Walking in the direction of the sound she found Bones waving a curved blade as long as his arm and his opponent was a man in a black cloak. She thought Bones was under attack and immediately released her pureblood aura.

The two people sensed her presence and suddenly the man in the cloak flashed away. In his place, Victoria appeared with her fists banging on the floor. Bones said, "Stop. What are you doing?" his cold voice made Victoria turn to him and she asked, "Are you hurt?"

Her tone was bland but in her eyes concern flashed. A hoarse voice sounded behind her, "Miss Vlad, why did you suddenly attack me?"

Victoria turned her crimson eyes at the man on the other side of the room and said, "Who are you? Why did you attack, Bones?" her tone was dominating, leaving no room for counter-question. Plus the pureblood aura coming from her body.

Before the man could reply, Bones said, "We are sparring together. It has been a long time since we did so. Also, this is my friend, Ashley Crow."

When she heard this name. Victoria was surprised, she said, "If he is your friend, then why did Oleksiy Vlad contact him to kill you."

The two men exchanged a glance and started laughing. Their laughter echoed in the room. Victoria had a very amazing expression on her face. She was gazing back and forth between the two men. She seemed to have figured out something. She said, "You played bait and lure with him."

The tone was warm and suddenly she felt her palm sting a little. The blood gods approved her oath. She received a light scar on her palm. The oath will be complete if Bones also did the same. Watching her taking the oath with no hesitation. Bones was moved a little.

Bones glared at him and so did Victoria. The man in the cloak shrugged and said, "I have been tracking Oleksiy Vlad lately, he seems to have some connections with the church of light. Bones, you remember, master told us about how rogue Vampires take refuge in Church of Light?"

Bones nodded as he asked, "Do you mean, Oleksiy Vlad is changing owners?"

Ashley nodded, he said, "I found his tracks, seems like he is seeking an audience but the court of light is reluctant about it. You need to do something soon. I have evidence but it is not enough to get him turned. Maximum, two weeks of silver river."

Bones nodded and said, "Go forward with the Silver river then. Stop him in his tracks. I don't want him to run away. Do it anonymously."
