บท 647: Decision

After minutes of an emotional moment with my parents, the show that we’re watching returned to air. Because of the absurdity of its sound effects and background music, that successfully put us out of that solemn mood.

My dad laughed, my mom laughed and soon enough, I got infected by it. The tears that formed and spilled from our eyes were soon wiped off as we returned our focus back to what was being shown on the TV.

There’s a lot that was still left unsaid and a lot of things that we could talk about. However, with our silent agreement, we dropped all those tonight.

According to them, they’d be here for at most two weeks if no job landed on my old man’s lap within that time.

As for their job, they’re both government officials that are part of law enforcement in the country. They couldn’t tell me clearly or they’re not allowed to.

But they both possessed a front identity that they often used when dealing with people.
