I snarled at him. I was still in my wolf form, so it came out purely raw and angry.

Matthew laughed bitterly. You know what, Delilah? We wouldve been perfectly fine had it not been for the fact that you decided to barge in on something you shouldnt have. So, what do you think? Are you going to try and run and tell the pack everything that just happened?

His fists clenched tight in anger and his shone with malice. I thought I could detect a hint of worry behind his eyes, but I brushed that thought to the back of my mind. It wasnt possible.

I snapped my jaw and growled at him. If I was going out, I was going out with the most fight I could.

Shift! He ordered. You look more irritating than usual in this form. What are you trying to do, make yourself look more powerful than you are? Well, goddammit, I could kill you if I wanted to!
