บท 163: Unpleasant Discovery

Running into the night. Screeches and heavy breathing behind her. She didn't have to glance back to see that they were pursuing her. Who? Those abominations of humanity? Elementals of Mist? Hydras? She, too, would have considered sirens, but there was no water nearby.

Curiosity itched to get a glimpse of her pursuers. That would only make her stumble and fall. Sure thing she would get a better look at them that way. The thought scared and amused her at the same time. What was wrong with her? Where was Zeir?

"Agatha, are you all right?" His frantic voice shocked her and nearly caused her to fall on a twig. His hands touched her cheeks before tightening around her shoulders. She could feel his touch but not see him.
